Here’s an old advertisement for the Peace Corps, from the 1960s. Wonder how many people it attracted? I can think of a few it would apply to, though I would feel bad for their host countries! 😉
I read your entire blog today. You can expect me to continue reading as well.
I know you are still in “America”, because you mentioned being here for the fourth. Have a great time in your USA home and safe travels back to SA. I look forward to reading about the rest of your PC adventures!
Wow. I am very impressed that you read my entire blog, especially because sometimes I think I blog too much. 🙂 Thanks for the safe travel wishes and I hope you continue to enjoy my experiences!
I had that same poster in my room all through high school. My PC experience in Lesotho was phenomenal (1975 to 1978). I doubt my experience or that of my Basotho compatriots was any less because of the sentiment of that poster, it was my inspiration.
